SLA@SOI is delighted to announce its participation in the upcoming NESSI Projects Summit being held in Valencia, Spain, on April 12th and 13th. The project will also be represented in the Future Internet Assembly on April 14th, 15th and 16th. If you are attending any of these events in Valencia be sure to look us up.

SLA@SOI participates in Ljubljana’s RealTime Webcamp

SLA@SOI was delighted to participate in the RealTime Webcamp held in Ljubljana on the 20th February 2010. Primož Hadalin from XLAB presented (in Slovene) how XMPP technologies have been used in our initial infrastructure monitoring implementations. SLA@SOI to present the Adhoc Demonstrator at Internet of Services 2009

SLA@SOI is to present their adhoc demonstrator at the Internet of Services 2009 in Brussels on Wednesday 10^th June 2009.

The adhoc demonstrator is the first public demonstrator of the SLA@SOI framework integrated with a reference service-oriented application supporting the sales process in a retail chain.

SLA@SOI, SOA4ALL & S-Cube to present NEXOF and related topics during 2009 SSAIE Summer School

The Service and Software Architectures, Infrastructures and Engineering (SSAIE) Summer School will take place from the 16^th to the 19^th June 2009 in Heraklion, Crete. The programme includes presentations by NESSI Strategic Projects SLA@SOI and SOA4ALL, as well as Network of Excellence S-Cube.
NEXOF will be one of the topics of the Summer School.

SLA@SOI Setting IaaS Standards @ OGF25

Following a series of discussions held on the CCIF, SLA@SOI was invited to partake in a “Birds of Feather” session at OGF25 that will lead to the foundation of the OGF’s working group for standardised IaaS APIs. Presenting on the behalf of Intel Labs Europe was UDO’s Ramin Yahyapour ( second from the left in the picture above), SLA@SOI’s scientific co-ordinator. The presented slides and an audio recording of the session can be found at the OGF25 site. There were well over 100 participants attending and presenters included ElasticHosts, Eucalyptus, GoGrid, OpenNebula, SAP, CohesiveFT and fellow FP7 research project, RESERVOIR.
