Business Management

The A2 work package addresses the whole business interaction between service providers and customers from the commercial product definition to post-sale relationship.

The main focus is on the provider perspective and how it could improve the quality perceived by customers and their satisfaction. Thus, it does not aim to build a whole service economy on top of our approach as such an economy would require sophisticated brokering mechanisms and service discovery abilities to produce high level services. Instead, the focus is to create a standardized business SLA information model, interfaces and tools to cover the whole commercial lifecycle.

This includes:

  • Specification of Business SLA model and interfaces for different business departments
  • Holistic Business SLA assessment as the result of merging Business SLAs from atomic services
  • Integration with product portfolio (services discovering and products provisioning)
  • Translation from service usage to business inputs
  • Negotiation processes between customer and provider and optimal Business SLA assessment
  • Tracking of the SLA signed and how it is carried out
  • Registering non repudiate evidence of violation and compensations assessment
