Open Reference Case

This work package develops an open reference case that has an easy understandable, precise specification and provides an implementation used for evaluation and demonstration of the SLA-framework provided by the technical work packages. The open reference case is a common example, which does not reveal any company/partner specific details. In contrast to the industrial use-cases (ERP hosting, Enterprise IT, Service Aggregator use case) it represents a rather simple (sandbox) scenario on which the whole consortium agrees upon. As the scenario is kept simple it will already be available in early phases of the project. Because of its simplicity and openness it serves as a “sandbox” for the technical wofocus areas and is also a vehicle for dissemination of project results. The open reference case w forms the basis for a project demonstrator.

Specific objectives are:

  • Specification, design and implementation of the open reference case
  • Specification, design and implementation of a demonstrator
  • Evaluation of the SLA@SOI framework implementation against the open reference case

Technical Documentation

The Open Reference Demonstrator code is now published on sourceforge, and detailed documentation is available from the Open Reference Case page on the SourceForge Wiki.

Demo Videos

Three videos have been prepared showing the Open Reference Demonstrator in action:
