Models
SLA@SOI Researchers have developed several data models used extensively within the project. These models have been designed to be useful outside the SLA@SOI project also.
SLA * Model
The SLA * Model is a generic Service Level Agreement model that is rich, comprehensive, extendable and format independent. Arbitrary SLAs can be defined using domain specific vocabularies. The SLA * model is formally documented in an IEEE paper, and summarised in this presentation. The model was developed in the SLA Management and Foundations focus area and the most recent version of the model is explained this deliverable. Software to support the SLA Model has been published open source and is documented on the SLA@SOI Sourceforge project wiki.
Service Construction MetaModel
The Service Construction Metamodel (SCM) is designed to allow important information regarding services to be described in a consistent way. Aspects such as the service dependencies. service instantiations, and service features are all considered. Software to support the SCM has been published open source and is documented on the SLA@SOI Sourceforge project wiki.
